About the Journal

Kanem Journal of Medical Sciences (KJMS) is a biannual peer-reviewed open-access journal that publishes original papers on experimental and clinical research, up-to-date reviews of topical issues, systemic reviews and metanalysis, as well as case reports, short communication and letters/emails to the editor. It publishes articles on all aspects of medical sciences.

The Journal is dedicated to offering the latest information on medical sciences and relevant basic science to medical practitioners, medical students, and other healthcare providers. Kanem Journal of Medical Sciences has been publishing regularly since its inception in 2007. Abstracting and Indexing Kanem Journal of Medical Sciences indexed with, or included in, the following: African Index Medicus, Index Copernicus, AJOL, DOAJ, IJIFACTOR, Pablon, Google Scholar, Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research, etc.

KJMS is an open access journal operating under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 international License (CC BY 4.0). All published content is immediately freely available without charge and users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose as long as they credit the original creation.
